Renters Rights Bill 2025

The Renters’ Rights Bill aims to enhance tenant protections in the UK by abolishing Assured Shorthold Tenancies and ending Section 21 ‘no fault’ evictions. This bill will aim to be put in place by Summer 2025.
The key provisions include:
  • Greater Security: Tenants will have more rights and protections against eviction.
  • Landlord Obligations: The bill imposes new responsibilities on landlords regarding the condition and management of rental properties.
